The ground laying work on the Brave new Words series. Everything started with the disk in the middle.

Fill the EmptySpace is an interactive floppy disc sculpture made out of 3.5" floppy discs. The floppies form words. The words lighten up when someone outside moves a long in front of the window. (sold)

"Wandblume" is floppy disc sculpture made of several 3.5" floppy discs. The sculpture hangs like a painting on the wall - mixing the genres of sculptures (standing somewhere within the room) and a painting (hangig on the wall)

The center part of the "Wandblume" is left open though that everyone could see the electric cables. It's like the heart where all the power comes from.

Als ich den Dross noch im schaltWerk Elektroniklabor hängen hatte wurde ich von jedem der die Skulptur interessant fand gefragt ob es sich dabei um eine Lampe handeln würde.

Der Dross war keine Lampe, deswegen entschloss ich mich "yet anthoer floppy disc cube" zu entwerfen. Der Cube besteht aus 4 Seiten mit jeweils 3x3 Disketten. Jede der 4 Seiten hat ein eigenes Thema.

Less 01 ist eine Deckenlampe zum Thema "weniger ist mehr". Genutzt werden LEDs wobei nur 2 der 3 freien Steckplätze belegt werden. Einer der Steckplätze bleibt also frei. Als Halterung dienen alte Disektten. Es handelt sich somit im weitesten Sinne um eine Upcycling-Installtion.

Dies ist die erste Lampe aus einer Serie von 5.

Less 01 is a ceiling lamp about "less is more". It uses LEDs. Only 2 of the 3 slots are used. One stays empty. I used old floppy discs as a kind of lamp holder. Therefore the lamp is about Upcycling.
